It is a long way off. But as with all the retailers I have done my rounds of kids fashion fairs and placed my orders for the winter collection 2012.
It was not easy .. or perhaps it was. First a day in Amsterdam (Kleine Fabreik) and then two days in Paris (Playtime). Just like any other retailer I like almost everything. There are so many fantastic brands. A big offering made of newcomers from all corners of the globe and of course the trusted established brands. It was hard to choose.
So, I have finally made up my mind. Amongst my well trusted brands such as Bomba for Girls and Mini Rodini, the Little Department Store will be joined in August of this year with 'Bengh per Principesse' and 'Be Lucky' .

Pale Pink has Arrived
We are very excited that the first of out Spring / Summer collections has arrived. Pale Pink.
Pale Pink is a Dutch organic clothing collection with easy wearing, loose fitting well cut styles in subtle pinks and purples. This is the very first collection for Pale Pink and is exclusively available @ Little Department Store and the Humanoid Store in Arnhem, Netherlands - one of my favorite places in the whole wide world.
Pale Pink is simple. Very Simple. But is so simple that it looks great worn layered or combined with other collections from the Little Department Store (such as Petit by Sophie Schnoor - coming soon).

Isabel Marant Inspired: Cowboy and Indian Summer!
I was so pleased when I opened the Marie Claire yesterday and saw a full page photo of cool cowboy inspired clothes from Isabel Marant's summer collection. Cowboys and Indians! We just love fringes and fake fur at the Little Department Store and so that's why we will continue to sell PetitBo for the summer of 2012. Organic, handmade, comfy rock and roll clothes for girls (and boys).
